The Lanka T10 schedule for the first Inaugural will be played from 11 to 19 December 2024. It will feature six franchise teams and showcase local and international players in Sri Lanka’s fastest cricket format. Each franchise will select up to 17 players and a minimum of 15 for their squads. The tournament will be a Page play-off system with a round-robin.

Lanka T10 schedule Sri Lanka Cricket announced Lanka T10 Fixtures complete schedule 2024. The first inaugural edition of the Lanka T10 Super League is set and begin on 11th December 2024 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka. The cricket event will start with an opening ceremony ahead of the first match between Jaffna Titans vs Hambantota Bangla Tigers.

Lanka T10 Schedule Rules or How to Play
10-Overs-Per-Side Format
Each team plays a maximum of 10 overs, leading to a fast-paced, attacking game from the first ball. This structure requires batsmen to adopt aggressive tactics immediately, aiming to build a strong score in a limited time, making every over crucial and intensifying the excitement for fans.
45-Minute Innings
Teams must complete their 10-over innings within 45 minutes, keeping the action swift and continuous.
Bowling Restrictions
Each bowler is limited to a maximum of two overs per game. This restriction challenges bowlers to make the most of limited deliveries and allows for less predictability, making it tougher for batsmen to settle into patterns against a particular bowler.
Reduced Overs in Rain-Interrupted Matches
If weather conditions or interruptions reduce playtime, the game can still produce a result, provided each side has completed at least five overs.
3-Over Powerplay
The opening two overs are designated as the initial Powerplay, during which the fielding side can position only two fielders outside the 30-yard circle, allowing batsmen the opportunity to capitalize and boost the score early on. Additionally, teams can opt for a “floating Powerplay” of one over anytime between the third and ninth overs to maximize scoring chances. Up to five fielders may be outside the 30-yard circle for non-powerplay overs.
Super Over to Break Ties
In playoff and Final matches, any tie will lead to a Super Over where each team faces six balls with two wickets in hand to score as many runs as possible. In the case of a tie in a Super Over during a playoff, the team with a higher standing from the group stage wins. However, Super Overs will continue for the Final until one team wins.
Lanka T10 Schedule Player Draft
The Player Draft for the first edition Lanka T10 Super League will be held in Colombo on November 10, 2024. player registration (Portal) deadline closing on November 1st and the direct player signing deadline on November 5th, each franchise must sign six players directly from each category: one Icon player, one Platinum player, one Category A player from Sri Lanka, and one from overseas, similarly from category B, allowing franchises to secure one local and one overseas player.
