The much-anticipated Lanka T10 venue is set in Kandy Pallekele International Cricket Stadium to debut in Sri Lanka, with all matches taking place in the stunning hill capital of Kandy. Scheduled from December 12th to December 22nd, the tournament will unfold at the renowned Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (PICS), a venue famed for its breathtaking surroundings and electrifying cricket atmosphere.

Six teams will compete in this high-energy event:

Each team roster will include 15 to 17 players, with a maximum of seven international stars. This mix of top-tier international talent, seasoned Sri Lankan players, and rising young stars will deliver a thrilling spectacle.

Location and Facilities
Lanka T10 venue is situated about 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) east of Kandy along the A26 highway, this stadium boasts a seating capacity of 35,000. Entirely owned by Sri Lanka Cricket, Pallekele stands as one of the country’s premier cricket venues, renowned for its serene backdrop and world-class facilities.
History of Kandy Cricket Ground
Built for the 2011 Cricket World Cup alongside the Hambantota International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele quickly became a landmark in Sri Lankan cricket. In 2010, the Central Provincial Council in Kandy considered renaming the stadium to honor cricket legend Muttiah Muralitharan, though this has yet to be formalized. The stadium hosted its first Test match between Sri Lanka and the West Indies from December 1–5, 2010, followed by its first One Day International (ODI) match between New Zealand and Pakistan on March 8, 2011.
A Hub for International Events
Since its opening, Pallekele has been a frequent choice for hosting major international tournaments. The stadium held nine matches during the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 and is also the proud home of the Kandurata cricket team. Known for its energetic crowds and memorable matches, Pallekele remains an iconic venue for cricket in Sri Lanka.
